Executive Director
Advertising specialist with expertise in Advertising and Marketing, holding an M.Ed. in Education from UFSC and a Ph.D. in Communication Sciences from USP. With professional and academic experience abroad, she brings a global, strategic perspective to her work. Her publications explore themes such as cultural identity, stereotypes, subjectivity, cultural practices, and consumption, distinguished by their depth of analysis and thematic relevance. At Pimenta Cultural, she oversees administrative, commercial, and communications activities, playing a crucial role in managing and developing editorial projects. Her blend of academic expertise and managerial skills strengthens Pimenta Cultural’s mission to foster knowledge and showcase cultural and scientific works.
Raul Inácio Busarello
Creative Director
An advertising professional with a master’s and Ph.D. in Knowledge Engineering and Management from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), he is nationally and internationally recognized for both his creative and academic contributions. A multiple award winner, his publications explore themes such as accessibility, gamification, and teaching-learning strategies, making significant contributions to these fields. At Pimenta Cultural, he plays a key role in the editorial area and creative direction, combining academic and advertising expertise to develop innovative, high-quality projects. His strategic vision and commitment to excellence enhance the impact of publications and underscore the value of the team’s work.
Landressa Rita Schiefelbein
Editorial Manager
With a degree in Philosophy from UFPel and currently pursuing a degree in Language Studies – Text Writing and Editing at the same institution, she also holds a certification in Theory and Practice of Instructional Design from Livre Docência Tecnologia Educacional. With experience as a text editor and audio describer, she is committed to excellence in written production and accessibility. At Pimenta Cultural, she manages editorial processes, overseeing key stages in book production and ensuring the high quality of all publications.
Júlia Marra Torres
Editorial Assistant
Currently pursuing a degree in Library Science, she plays a key role in supporting the publication process. Her main responsibilities include assisting authors, reviewing books, and monitoring the editorial workflow, ensuring organization and quality at every stage. She contributes to the excellence of publications by fostering a seamless experience for authors and reinforcing Pimenta Cultural’s commitment to the dissemination of knowledge.
Ana Flávia Pivisan Kobata
Editorial Assistant
Currently pursuing a degree in Language Studies (PUC-SP), she works in the editorial field with a focus on activities that ensure the quality and visibility of publications. Her responsibilities include reviewing books, creating remissive indexes, indexing in national and international databases, checking originals, and updating the database.
Naiara Von Groll Patias
Graphic Designer
With a degree in Design, she works as an art assistant at Pimenta Cultural, where she is responsible for creating book covers and graphic artwork for a wide range of notable publications. She is constantly seeking new inspiration and experiences to enhance her creative projects. Her work is defined by creativity and a strong commitment to visually capturing the essence of each book, elevating both the aesthetic and editorial quality of the publications.
Andressa Voltolini
Layout Designer
She is currently pursuing a degree in Design at FURB and has solid experience in the publishing field, with a special focus on the layout of academic and children's books. She is dedicated to creating graphic projects that combine functionality, aesthetics, and accessibility, always seeking innovative solutions to meet project demands. At Pimenta Cultural, she plays an important role in guiding and enhancing graphic design projects.
Stela Tiemi Hashimoto Kanada
Layout Designer
Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design at Anhembi Morumbi University, she has a creative eye and a passion for handcrafted arts. She contributes to the quality and refinement of editorial projects. Her combination of technical skills and artistic sensitivity enriches every stage of the publishing process.
Simone Sales
Librarian
A Librarian (UFES) with a degree in Portuguese Language (IFES), she holds specialization in Public Library Management (AVM Faculdades Integradas), Linguistics and Reader Development (FAVENI), and Digital Technologies for Professional and Technical Education (IFES). At Pimenta Cultural, she works in the technical area, responsible for creating cataloging records, ensuring the editorial credibility and academic visibility of the published works.
Bruna Lima Cantero
Proofreader
Postgraduate in Cultural Journalism from the Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas (FMU). Graduate in Letters (Portuguese-Spanish) from the Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie. Collaborates with Pimenta Cultural as an academic proofreader, always striving to ensure the cohesion and coherence of the books she carefully reviews.
Larissa Barbosa Finamore
Proofreader
Master's student in Literary Studies (UFJF). Postgraduate in Linguistics and Language Teaching (UFMS). Specialist in Editing and Editorial Management (Nespe). Graduate in Letters/Portuguese (UNIFSJ). At Pimenta Cultural, she works in text preparation and proofreading, as well as in standardization and normalization, ensuring the quality of the books published by the publisher.
Marcos Viola Cardoso
Proofreader
Bachelor's degree in Letters — Portuguese-English Translation from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Specialization in Audiovisual Translation from English at Estácio de Sá. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in History at UFRGS. He works as a collaborator at the Pimenta Cultural publishing house, focusing on text proofreading and standardization, primarily in the field of Humanities. He has extensive experience working with academic content books and strives to maintain a high standard of quality in the publisher's publications.
Maximiliano Kunrath
Proofreader
Undergraduate in Letters (Portuguese/English) at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). He has worked as a text preparer and proofreader for 7 years, providing various services in this field, including the evaluation of textual accessibility and document standardization. At Pimenta Cultural, his goal is to organize the received originals in a way that makes the text clearer to the reader, facilitating the Reading experience.
Milena Domingos
Proofreader
Undergraduate in Letters. She is a proofreader and translator. Her responsibilities include grammar proofreading, cohesion and coherence, and standardization according to ABNT rules.
Thais Geraldi
Proofreader
Graduate in Letters (Portuguese/English), with specialization in Brazilian Literature and Children's and Youth Literature. She began working in the field of text proofreading in 2020 and, since then, has been specializing further through courses and additional studies. At Pimenta Cultural, she performs the functions of proofreading and text preparation, aiming to ensure the quality of the materials published.
Vanessa Bastos
Proofreader
Graduate in Letters from Estácio da Bahia University Center, postgraduate student in Neuroscience and Human Behavior at the same institution. She works as a proofreader at Pimenta Cultural. With experience in writing academic articles and poetry, she combines a critical and detailed approach to the proofreading process.
